4 Classes, 3 Research Papers, 2 Projects & 1 Troubled Mind... HOW TO STAY ORGANIZED!
Staying organized can be very hectic. Stay on top of things in classes can be as well. So... PLANNING is the perfect thing to do and have. Here are some steps to help.
1. Get a planner: I know people like the pretty ones or eye catching planners, But, you shouldn't take too long with this part. Try to find a planner with weekly and monthly layouts. Planners that are undated or dated and have their weeks numbered are perfect. Every week this is a different thing to do in each class. Having the weeks numbered gives you a head start on planning. Our planners fit that description perfectly. Our planners also have study pages to read and fill in. Also, you can write out your academic and life goals to stay on track of that as well. :)
2. Color coding: We all know having several classes can be hectic. So using different color tools such as highlighters, markers, pens or even crayons can help. Make each class a different color along with their assignments.
Crossing off assignments can get a little messy. So leaving a check mark against your assignments, tests, and quizzes is a good idea.
3. When to plan: The weekend is the two perfect days to plan. You can take a deep breath, relax and just sit to get your mind in order. I know people do have classes on Saturday, so most likely picking Sunday is better. Set aside time to have a "Brain Dump". Which is writing down everything that has your mind backed up. Things you can't stop thinking about. Write it all down. When writing out your assignments, quizzes, tests, meeting, reports make sure to put down there due dates as well. You can also write down due dates that are sooner than the regular due date. Get your stuff done early to relax on the days they were due! ;)
Never do anything last minute! You will never succeed by doing that.
