Do This.... Not That...
I know test or quiz taking can make you a NERVOUS WRECK. So here are some tips to help you get over the fear of that.
1. Studying early can help you become and stay prepared for whatever is on your test. Maybe start a couple days early. Or heck a couple weeks early if you have the syllabus and know what chapters are coming up. Studying early can give you a head start. If your one of the people that has to do things repetitive, then starting early is very beneficial for you.
2. Taking your own notes is the best thing to do for yourself. Don't ever lean on someone for their notes. Sometimes that person can have more notes on something that they didn't know about and less on what you need to know and vice versa. Your own notes should be written your way so you know what your talking about.
3. Always ask questions. Ask questions on what you don't know or even evaluate more on what you do know. Why stay confused on things and then receive the grade that could of been prevented. My mom always told me "A closed mouth don't get fed." In other words you will never know what can help you if you don't talk.
4. Doing the questions at the end of the chapter will help you BIG TIME. They will help you know whether if you know about what you read or not. Most likely or half the time some of those questions will be on your test or quiz anyways. Once doing the questions and you don't understand or don't know the answer then you have the chance to flip back in the reading and re-read the part you need more time on.
ALWAYS REMEMBER: YOU GOT THIS!
